Overview:

Install segmental paving units by laying them out, cutting them out, and putting them in position. Installers of bedding and restraining materials for paving units are included.

Job Responsibilities:

Cement the paved area's edges.
Cobblestones, terracotta tiles, concrete, or other materials can be used to resurface an outdoor space.
Create markings for directional references of joints and stringlines in the paver installation layout pattern.
Base materials, edge restraints, bedding sand, and jointing sand are all delivered and installed.
Install pavers, ensuring that they are properly aligned and spaced.
Using a splitter and a masonry saw, cut paving stones to size and for edges.
Sweep sand from the surface before allowing traffic to pass.
Screed sand to an even thickness and recheck sand that has been exposed to the weather, raking and rescreeding as needed.
