Overview:

Apply plaster, cement, stucco, or other comparable materials to the interior or exterior. Sets ornamental plaster as well.

A post-secondary certificate is sufficient but not necessary.

Scratch the undercoat surface to allow the finish coat to adhere.
Apply weatherproof, ornamental covers to building exterior surfaces, such as stucco trowelling or spraying.
Construct scaffolding.
Clean and prepare surfaces for plaster, cement, stucco, or similar materials by drywall taping, for example.
Using brushes or trowels, sand, pebbles, or stones, create ornamental textures in the finish coat.
Install prefabricated insulation systems over existing walls or cover the outer wall with insulation board, reinforcing mesh, and a base coat to insulate the building exteriors.
