Using magnetic or radio markers, locate existing pipes that need to be repaired or replaced.
Others should be trained or supervised when it comes to laying pipe.
Operate heavy machinery such pickup trucks, rollers, tandem dump trucks, front-end loaders, and backhoes.
Lasers, grade rods, and transit levels are examples of equipment that can be installed or used.
Using tamping machines or manual tools, grade or level trench bases.
To prepare pipes for welding or sealing, align and position them.
To introduce auxiliary lines or devices, tap and drill holes into pipelines.
By hand or using trenching tools, dig trenches to the desired or required depths.
Using levels or lasers, inspect slopes for compliance with regulations.
