Overview:
Hazardous items, such as asbestos, lead-based paint, waste oil, fuel, transmission fluid, radioactive materials, or polluted soil, must be identified, removed, packed, transported, or disposed of. Hazardous materials handling training and certification, as well as a confined entry permit, are usually necessary. May operate earth-moving or trucking equipment.
Career Path:
A high school diploma or equivalent is enough but not necessary.
