Job Responsibilities:

Compose, type, and proofread papers, schedule appointments and meetings, handle mail, and publish public notices, among other clerical activities.
Inspect sites and examine plans for applications for small development permits.
Maps and databases are created, developed, and maintained.
Prepare, update, and manage files and records, such as land use data and statistics.
Prepare reports illustrating planning research in areas such as population, land use, and zoning using statistics, charts, and graphs.
Assist the planning department in liaising with other departments and agencies.
Respond to public requests for information and concerns.
