Contracts for the production or purchase of farm goods are negotiated with farmers.
Arrange for the processing or resale of items that have been acquired.
Purchase agricultural goods such as milk, cereals, or Christmas trees for further processing or resale.
Examine orders to identify the sorts of products and quantities needed to fulfil demand.
Keep track of company transactions and product inventory, and submit information to corporations or government authorities as needed.
Make arrangements for the transportation and storage of bought items.
