An Ayurvedic Doctor uses holistic techniques from India to help patients maintain a healthy life, eliminate impurities, reduce stress, and fight disease. Ayurvedic doctors look at the patient’s vulnerabilities and look at ways to strengthen them rather than treating symptoms. The treatment process usually consists of diet plans, massages, yoga, healthy lifestyle practices and herbal medicines.

They spend a considerable amount of time with each patient trying to understand the symptoms, lifestyle, mental state, food habits etc. of the patient
Working conditions are favourable since Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners interact with patients in clean and hygienic surroundings.
Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners also take up faculty positions in Ayurvedic colleges.
