Overview:
A public relations officer is responsible for projecting and maintaining a positive image of their client at all times. They are involved in promoting the brand image of a company, a specific product or an individual. They connect with and retain friendly relationships with all associate stakeholders as well. These professionals ensure that their client’s image is maintained in all forms of media and may also arrange for press meets, photoshoots, events, and other promotional activities for the same. They are required to combine creativity, diplomacy, and communication in their job.
Career Path:
Stream of Study at 12th: |
Students who wish to become public relations officers can opt for any stream at the 12th level. After 10th, students can also pursue Certificate and Diploma courses in Public Relations, English Communication Skills, Creative Writing, Marketing and Advertising, etc. Most courses and institutions require students to clear an institution-specific entrance examination. |
