Job Responsibilities:

Brush paste onto surfaces after making a paste with paste powder and water.
Align the edges and patterns of strips or portions of paper on surfaces.
Using brushes, rollers, or pasting machines, apply thinned glue to waterproof porous surfaces.
Set up pasteboards and scaffolds, if necessary.
Using brushes, apply adhesives to the backs of paper strips, or soak strips of prepasted wallcovering in water and wipe away any excess adhesive.
Sizing is used to seal surfaces and increase the adhesion of coverings to them.
Using water, steam machines, solvents, and scrapers, remove old paper.
