Overview:
Newsreaders or TV News anchors are people who present news behind a desk on TV. They mostly read news from a teleprompter or from notes on their desk. They might even host debates, interviews and talk shows on News channels. Some of them report live news from the field. Most news broadcasters have a background in journalism or mass communication. Being camera friendly and having excellent presentation skills is an important requirement in this profession.
