Modelling is one of the most glamorous professions in the world. Modelling is considered to be different from other types of public performance, such as acting or dancing. Models pose for artists, photographers, or customers to help advertise a variety of products, including clothing, cosmetics, food, and appliances. Models may appear in different media like print ads, TV commercials, product catalogues, online ads etc. Most models work with agents who connect them to potential clients. This profession does not require any educational qualification. However, most models must be within certain ranges for height, weight, and clothing size to meet the needs of fashion designers, photographers, and advertisers.
Career Path:
Modelling is a career that doesn't require any specific degree or credential and obtaining a relevant degree could enhance their prospects for moving into related fields. Most models also attend short term courses or grooming schools to learn about posing, posture and makeup techniques.
