Overview:
Forensic science is the application of science to criminal and civil laws, mainly focused on criminal investigation. Forensic scientists use scientific knowledge and techniques to detect crime or carry out crime investigation using laboratory tests and analysis. Forensic science involves physics, chemistry, psychology, biology (and botany), and digital & cyber forensics. They try to find and examine contact material related to crimes such as burglary, assault or drug usage.
