Job Responsibilities:

Cut primacord to the required lengths and attach primers to the cord ends.
To make blast patterns, tie primacord between rows of charged blast holes and main lines.
To timing explosive sequences, tie specified lengths of delayed fuses into patterns.
Hand tools are used to repair and service blasting, shooting, and automobile equipment, as well as electrical wiring and instruments.
Compile and maintain records on guns and explosives in accordance with local and federal laws.
Check for explosion of charges by looking at control panels or listening for bursts.
