Event Management is the process of planning and coordinating large events like weddings, private parties, conferences, award ceremonies etc. An event planner is a professional who plans, executes and coordinates the events by taking the responsibilities for technical, creative and logistical elements. They are in charge of décor, food, personnel, photographers and technology for the event. Some specialise in certain events like weddings, trade shows etc.
Career Path:
Diploma course can be taken by students who have completed 10th grade. Graduates in Marketing, business and hotel management also can look at a career in event planning.
