Overview:
A dancer or choreographer uses dance performance to express an idea. They start training at an early age and require years of formal training before giving live performances. A choreographer's work is to create and organize dance sequences in cinema, music videos, drama, theatre, as well as in private gatherings. They are professionals in dance who create not only dances, but themes with properties too. Nearly all choreographers began their career as dancers. Dancers usually specialise in a particular style like ballet, hip-hop, classical etc.
Career Path:
Dance Industry isn't a degree specific industry. A candidate who wants to seek job as a professor at a college or university might be required to complete Ph.D.
