Job Responsibilities:

Under cranes, direct assistance are tasked with putting blocking or outrigging.
Using moving equipment, load and unload bundles from vehicles or transport containers to storage bins.
Clean, lubricate, and maintain systems including cables, pulleys, and grappling devices, as needed.
To avoid faults or damage, inspect and adjust crane mechanisms and lifting attachments.
Check for wear on cables or grappling devices and install or replace cables as needed.
To prevent overloading, calculate load weights and compare them to lifting capacity.
