Catering professionals take the responsibility to prepare and transport food for clients. They cater for special events i.e. wedding ceremonies, conferences, large get-together etc. They might also be given the responsibility to serve food, provide utensils for the event and clean up after the event. Catering does not require any educational background. However, training in food preparation techniques and event management can help improve one’s career prospects.
